Youth Action Movement (YAM)
Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) is a registered voluntary, charitable, non- governmental, non-profit organization providing Family Planning and Reproductive Health Services nationwide in support of government’s health programmes to the Nigerian populace with young people as a special focus. It is a full Member Association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). IPPF had been implementing youth programmes for many years and the formation of the Youth Action Movements in MAs gave more opportunity to young people to participate fully in the governance and programmes of the federation. In 2016 IPPFAR approved a Regional YAM Operational Framework which was intended to guide the governance and operations of YAM in all MAs in Africa.
